Peru and Machu Picchu

I wanted to share just a few photos of an amazing trip to Cusco, Peru and some of the beautiful captures of the area inclusive of Machu Picchu.

Above is the example of some intricate art created by local artisans

Triton Museum Entries

Most recently, I was honored by the Triton Museum in Santa Clara, California. They held a statewide photography contest and of the 700 entries, 3 of my photographs where chosen. Below are my entries for your viewing pleasure.

Burano Boats was taken on our trip throughout Italy. It was a wonderfully overcast day which made the colors even more vivid.

Pinnacles Before Night was captured near Stinson beach in northern California. The tide was coming in along with the fog. The sun was beginning to dip on the horizon. There was very little time to make this shot as if I stayed in this location, the only way out would be to scale the cliff behind me or swim for it. Luckily, timing was perfect and made it back to higher ground, dry.

Lastly, Sunset Spray was taken beneath the pier which leads to the "Cement Ship", the S.S. Palo Alto in Aptos, CA. Once again, tide was coming in and the sun was setting. Time again to get my feet wet.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these prints, please feel free to send me an e-mail with your request. In the display at the Triton Museum, they are all printed on metal with a high gloss or satin finish.
